Dear Lord Jesus...With all that is taking place all around, my heart and mind are set upon You. In the secret place of Your presence, I sense the Holy Spirit overwhelming me and filling me with Your peace, love, and joy. Truly, when I abide on You—when all my priorities at home, work, school, marketplace, and ministry are centered on You as my preeminent pursuit, everything else simply falls into place. And those assaults of the enemy? In the power of Your Name, Lord Jesus, he is completely defeated. And it is in Your Name, Lord, I pray. Let’s go! Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I exalt You! Every morning when I start my day in adoration of You, well, the day turns out whole lot better. When I lean into the Holy Spirit, He directs me in Your word and in prayer for my loved ones, my community, and the nations. And Lord, I thank You for creating me! It has taken a long time and lots of Your healing touch to come to the place where I am thrilled with who You made me to be: Your very own Masterpiece. I revel in the joy of Your life in mine and may Your light shine through the darkness around me today. In the Name Above All names, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I worship and adore You, my Rock, my Strength, and My Fortress ______ (take time to offer your own words of praise). As another day begins with You, I can’t wait to see what adventures You have in store for me. From the ordinary to the extraordinary, I ask for Your Spirit’s help to keep renewing my mind, healing my body, and transforming my emotions to align with Yours. I want to live in Your Shalom (health, wholeness, wellness, goodness, prosperity of soul, and peace). May everything I do bring You glory as You hold this day in Your hands. Your Kingdom come, Lord! And in Your All-Sufficient Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…Thank you for the hope I sense in your presence today. Even as the world groans under the weight of war, irregular climate, violence, illness, and so much more, I find my rest and joy in You alone. What a gift! I am so grateful to be Your child! Your covering of power and rescue guards my steps and keeps me safe. I ask to be a conduit of intercession today. Please open my eyes to really see everyone around me and what You are up to in their lives that I can pray into. Eyes off me and onto what You are up to. I am so ready! In Lord Jesus’ Beautiful Name, I pray. Amen!

Worship: A Key in Spiritual Warfare #1

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, 
And a two-edged sword in their hand,
Psalm 149:6

 Let’s be reminded, worship has a key role to play in spiritual warfare.

When we worship, breakthrough takes place in the heavenly realm that can miraculously change circumstances in our physical realm. Yes, worship can do this. There are just too many Bible stories that record this and too many life experiences to discount it.

Our enemy, the devil, and his demons can’t stand it when we worship. It is genuinely the worst sound in their ears. Our praise sends them running. Psalm 149 further tells us that the demonic are bound up. In addition, when we get our eyes off our circumstances and turn them to the One Who is Almighty and reigns supreme, our situations appear minuscule in His hand. Worship aligns our hearts with His heart to hear His battle commands for us. Worship humbles us to know that only He can fight on our behalf. And worship positions us to win the battle of whatever we are facing.

· Instead of getting angry, worship.

· Instead of allowing anxiety to rule, praise.

· Instead of succumbing to self-pity, lift up the One Who uplifts you.

No, we don’t worship to get. Nevertheless, when we do genuinely worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, fears cease, the enemy falters, Jesus is glorified, and His presence transforms us.

So, whatever you are facing right now, instead of contacting someone else, first go to the throne room. Remember who God is and lift your praise. Stay until you have touched heaven. Listen for the Holy Spirit’s direction. Ask for scriptures to strengthen and arm you for battle. Then, see what He does next. Because truly—worship is a key to triumphant spiritual warfare.

Being in Your presence fulfills all my need, satisfies my thirsty soul, gives me direction step by step, and causes me to know that I am seated with You in heavenly places. Dear Heavenly Father… I lean into Your Word before I even attempt to begin my day. I pray for Holy Spirit revelation to illuminate what You are saying to me that I need to hear for this situation in my life _______ (name it). I ask for an even greater hunger to live in, by, and through Your Word alone. Only Your Word and the Name of Jesus have the authority to dismantle the enemy’s advances. Help me remember that I am already seated with You in heavenly places, and from that position, I wage war in prayer. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…How grateful I am that You are with me, and You dwell within me. Thank You that there is nothing that I can do to earn Your love, because I fall so short so often. Still, Your steadfast love NEVER fails me, and I find rest for my soul and body under the shelter of Your wings. Please continue Your healing work in my life, especially in this area _______ (name what you are going through). I look forward to this day in Your presence and Word. Ministry & Family Vacay from Morning Moments!

Hi There!

Beginning today, I am heading into a month-long time of ministry and being with family. This begins with my flying out to Northern California to share at a Women’s Retreat for The Hill Church, Assembly of God, Vallejo, at Lake Tahoe (yay!).

Immediately upon arriving home…family is coming for a week, both here and as we travel to Portland, OR. The next day, upon arrival home, I leave to lead a two-week mission trip to Croatia and Serbia. Lord Jesus is SO good to open these doors.

Dear Heavenly Father...I can hardly believe how fast time is flying! Today, I pray that Holy Spirit will work through me to reach others with Your love and compassion. With so much division, hatred, and violence in the world, make me a conduit of Your redeeming love. Instead of running from those who are marginalized, are different, believe differently, or are simply hard to love, help me to run to them because that is what You did in Your earthly ministry and what You have told us to do as Your beloved kids!! Open my eyes and heart to see people (including myself!) like You do: with overflowing love. In Your Magnificent Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus… I am so thankful to find my rest in You. You are my oasis of calm and peace when it seems like tornadoes of situations and world events are storming around me. Today, I lift high Your shield of faith. I know that You are mightier than anything I am currently going through, and I declare Your name Lord Jesus, as the Lord of these situations and people who need Your Kingdom touch ______ (name them slowly, declaring His Lordship over each one!). I am ready for the day, all because of You. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus… I am so grateful for a new day! How amazing is Your love that awakens me each new morning, sustaining my joy, guiding my steps, and carrying my burdens. Dear Lord Jesus…I find such rest in You and Your Word. When You say that You will do all the heavy (and light!) lifting in my life if I simply let go my cares and trust You, You have never failed to come through! How many times have I gotten in Your way, delayed Your plans, or disrupted them altogether, simply because I think I know what is best? Far too many times. Today and every day, I choose You. I lay my burdens down, trust you to open and close doors, and give me discernment in every situation. I am ready! In Your Name, Which is Filled with All Grace, King Jesus. Amen!

Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers;

I will not be shaken, moved, or deterred from pursuing You ardently today, even in the midst of work, home, or school. I know that You are at work in these difficult situations that I have been seeking You about and battle praying for _______ (name them).
