Ministry & Family Vacay from Morning Moments!

Hi There!

Beginning today, I am heading into a month-long time of ministry and being with family. This begins with my flying out to Northern California to share at a Women’s Retreat for The Hill Church, Assembly of God, Vallejo, at Lake Tahoe (yay!).

Immediately upon arriving home…family is coming for a week, both here and as we travel to Portland, OR. The next day, upon arrival home, I leave to lead a two-week mission trip to Croatia and Serbia. Lord Jesus is SO good to open these doors.

Dear Heavenly Father...I can hardly believe how fast time is flying! Today, I pray that Holy Spirit will work through me to reach others with Your love and compassion. With so much division, hatred, and violence in the world, make me a conduit of Your redeeming love. Instead of running from those who are marginalized, are different, believe differently, or are simply hard to love, help me to run to them because that is what You did in Your earthly ministry and what You have told us to do as Your beloved kids!! Open my eyes and heart to see people (including myself!) like You do: with overflowing love. In Your Magnificent Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

Dear Lord Jesus...With all that is taking place all around, my heart and mind are set upon You. In the secret place of Your presence, I sense the Holy Spirit overwhelming me and filling me with Your peace, love, and joy. Truly, when I abide in You—when all my priorities at home, work, school, marketplace, ministry, and even vacation time are centered on You as my preeminent pursuit, everything else simply falls into place. And those assaults of the enemy? In the power of Your Name, Lord Jesus, he is completely defeated. And it is in Your Name, Lord, I pray. Let’s go! Amen!

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Dear Lord Jesus… I am so thankful to find my rest in You. You are my oasis of calm and peace when it seems like tornadoes of situations and world events are storming around me. Today, I lift high Your shield of faith. I know that You are mightier than anything I am currently going through, and I declare Your name Lord Jesus, as the Lord of these situations and people who need Your Kingdom touch ______ (name them slowly, declaring His Lordship over each one!). I am ready for the day, all because of You. Amen!

One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.

Dear Lord Jesus… I am so grateful for a new day! How amazing is Your love that awakens me each new morning, sustaining my joy, guiding my steps, and carrying my burdens. I choose to trust You for these concerns in particular _______ (name them and release them into His care). You are able to do far above all that I could ask or think for each of these cares. And in Your All-Powerful name, Lord Jesus, I bring to nothing any work of darkness that would distract or cause any confusion in my heart and mind. I belong to You, and I say, “Yes, Lord, Yes,” to everything You say and all You desire to work through me today. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father… I lean into Your Word before I even attempt to begin my day. I pray for Holy Spirit revelation to illuminate what You are saying to me that I need to hear for this situation in my life _______ (name it). I ask for an even greater hunger to live in, by, and through Your Word alone. Only Your Word and the Name of Jesus has the authority to dismantle the enemy’s advances. Help me remember that I am already seated with you in heavenly places, and from that position, I wage war in prayer. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I find such rest in You and Your Word. When You say that You will do all the heavy (and light!) lifting in my life if I simply let go my cares and trust You, You have never failed to come through! How many times have I gotten in Your way, delayed Your plans, or disrupted them altogether, simply because I think I know what is best? Far too many times. Today and every day, I choose You. I lay my burdens down, trust you to open and close doors, and give me discernment in every situation. I am ready! In Your Name, Which is Filled with All Grace, King Jesus. Amen!

Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers;
The snare is broken, and we have escaped.

Dear Lord Jesus…I continue today to worship and glorify You, Lord. You are my Rock, Deliverer, Fortress, and the only One who can save, heal, and deliver. Today, I pray for my community _____ (take time to name specific needs). I speak Your name above all names against any spirit of violence that would try to dominate or intimidate. Instead, I ask for Your peace to pervade every home and every heart. Holy Spirit, come! Be released within my life first of all, overflowing into every encounter I have today with anyone. I am ready! In Your Magnificent Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I look to You and You alone today. I thank You for Your felt presence through the Holy Spirit, who is strengthening me as I quiet my heart and mind before You _______ (take time to do this!). I am so grateful for this summer season to be restored and refreshed by You and Your Word. Please help me take every advantage to be filled and fed from what You have spoken, and may I hear You clearly as You highlight those passages that are meant just for me currently (those powerful “rhema” words the Holy Spirit provides to each of us). I am so ready for this brand-new day, all because of You! In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I start this day knowing that I am held ever so tightly in Your Almighty hands. I will not be shaken, moved, or deterred from pursuing You ardently today, even in the midst of work, home, or school. I pray for Holy Spirit wisdom and knowledge for every situation I may face, and I pour out myself and ask that You would pour Yourself into me in greater measure; restoring my soul. Dear Lord Jesus…Oh, how I love that You awaken me each morning with a fresh word to my heart to see me through the day. I know that You are at work in these difficult situations that I have been seeking You about and battle praying for _______ (name them). I live in perfect peace knowing that You have every answer and I once again surrender my preconceived ideas about what you should do! My trust is totally in You as I lean into the love and power through the Holy Spirit. In Your Name Above All Names, Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…Thank You for leading the way! However, I realize that I must choose to follow. How often have I thought that I know a better path than You? Honestly, what was I thinking? When has that ever worked? Or even more, how much have I missed out on that You had for me? No more. My soul (heart and mind) and my actions follow You alone. Under the covering of Your love, I am surrounded by Your power and presence no matter what situations surround me. So once again, I start this day by surrendering completely to You. Everything. I am so ready and in Your Incomparable Name, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Dear Lord Jesus...I worship and adore You, my Rock, my Strength, and My Fortress ______ (take time to offer your own words of praise). As another day begins with You, I can’t wait to see what adventures You have in store for me. From the ordinary to the extraordinary, I ask for Your Spirit’s help to keep renewing my mind, healing my body, and transforming my emotions to align with Yours. I want to live in Your Shalom (health, wholeness, wellness, goodness, prosperity of soul, and peace). May everything I do bring You glory as You hold this day in Your hands. Your Kingdom come, Lord! Dear Lord Jesus...As the world seems to be getting crazier and crazier, I set my emotions and thoughts directly upon You. I make the choice today—and always—to guard what I put before my eyes. And every day, may I keep myself hidden in You, walking in the power of Your Holy Spirit, revealing Your love to everyone I meet. I know that I can’t do any of this in my strength—I’ve tried, and it doesn’t work! So, I surrender my will for Yours today and look forward with joy to what You are doing and will do. Dear Heavenly Father…I am Yours! The power of Your grace and truth continually set me free from the lies of the enemy, my own shortcomings, and all my guilt when I blow it! I ask for Holy Spirit overflow in my soul to continually transform me from the inside out. As I head into the new week there is much to battle pray for, and I pray for the Spirit’s leading in these matters that concern me ________ (name them) and for these nations in the world that need a miracle from heaven ______ (take time to stop and pray as the Spirit leads you). Dear Lord Jesus…Here we are again! The start of a brand-new day. In this moment of quiet, I pour out my life before You. Please empty me completely of my selfishness, self-absorption, and any and everything that keeps me from the fullness of Holy Spirit power, joy, and most of all, Your limitless love. I pray that Your Word inside of me will continue to speak to me throughout the day and may I not only be refreshed and revived but bring that same refreshment to many. In the Wonder-Filled Name of Jesus, Amen!
