Dear Lord Jesus…I start this day knowing full well that I need Your strength for every moment of it! There are already a few challenges that I know about, and there may be a few that I am completely unaware of. Nevertheless, You will hold my hand through all of it. I will not live UNDER circumstances, but reign in Your authority through them and over them. I pray to walk in gentle boldness as I stand on Your Word and hide myself in Your love. I am ready! In Your Superlative Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

You’re as real to me as bedrock beneath my feet, like a castle on a cliff, my forever firm fortress, my mountain of hiding. . .You are salvation’s ray of brightness shining on the hillside, always the champion of my cause.

Dear Heavenly Father...I love You this morning...and always! How grateful I am to be held securely in Your hands when all the world, finances, prices, life, weather, and people stuff are going up, down, and sideways! You said it would be so, and I love how I can live in the ‘shalom’ of Your blessing (Hebrew for health, wholeness, peace, fulfillment, and so much more!) in the midst of all the chaos. As I wait upon You and surrender all to the work of the Holy Spirit in my life, You are transforming more and more into the image of Your Son. Keep going! And it is in His Majestic Name, King Jesus, I seal this prayer. Amen!

Wait for and confidently expect the LORD;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for and confidently expect the LORD.

Dear Lord Jesus...With all that is taking place all around, my heart and mind are set upon You. In the secret place of Your presence, I sense the Holy Spirit overwhelming me and filling me with Your peace, love, and joy. I pray today for those who are experiencing the loss of loved ones. No matter if their loss is due to flood, fire, illness, war, or violence, in every place on the globe, Your felt comfort is needed. I pray for and declare Your name, King Jesus, over these situations ________(take time to wait on Him and His leading). Lord, my trust is in You...

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
John 15:4

Dear Heavenly Father…I come into Your presence with Your praise upon my lips! I pour out my life and plans for Yours. I pray that You will direct my every step, my every thought, and my every word. Today, I pray to be a conduit of Your lavish grace toward everyone I encounter. With the craziness of the world and so much hostility, even among believers, please open my eyes to see those around me as You see them in all their potential, all the great things You have in store for them, and most of all, how much You love them (even when I think they are difficult!). I move forward in this day renewed in Your love for me! In the Majestic Name of Jesus. Amen!

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Ephesians 5:2

Dear Lord Jesus…In a world where evil and violence abound, Your grace is enough! Yes, the effective working of Your all-powerful grace through the Holy Spirit fills me to overflowing, gives me abilities beyond my natural limitations, provides for all I need, and resources me to live in freedom from guilt and the stuff that once held me so tightly. Today, may I be a gift of Your grace to everyone I meet. I make myself available for You to work through to bless, encourage, or pray for healing for those I know and those I don’t. I am ready…all because of Your grace. I seal this prayer in Your Gracious Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I do not want to do anything today without the Holy Spirit’s power and presence overflowing my life. I am tired of making messes, then turning to You to clean them up. I choose to live surrendered today (and every day!) to Your will. I thank You for the lavishness of Your love in my life, and I trust You for the things taking place that I don’t fully understand. Instead of trying to figure out these situations, I totally rest and trust in You. Let the day begin! In Jesus’ All-Powerful Name. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus… I bow before Your throne today. With so much taking place all around me and throughout the world, I am so thankful that Your Holy Spirit and Your Word anchor my soul. The profound healing that You continue to do in my life from past mistakes, traumas, and wounds has been so great, and I rest in the depths of Your love. Please work through me today as an agent of reconciliation and peace with everyone I meet. I pray for opportunities to lay hands on the sick, pray for the lost, and extend hope to the hopeless. You are everything to me, and in Your Almighty Name, I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Please work through me today to be a light and encouragement to everyone I meet, seeing Your Holy Spirit’s supernatural gifts of prayer language, prophecy, discernment, or any of them, displayed through my life to bring others into Your embrace. Especially with so much uncertainty in the world economy, wars that continue in several nations, and just plain ol' waking up in the morning with the concerns of daily living! What peace through the Holy Spirit’s power I sense in this moment as I take this time and quiet my heart in Your felt presence _____ (take time to do this!). Yes, yes, Lord. Dear Lord Jesus…I exalt You! Every morning when I start my day in adoration of You, well, the day turns out whole lot better. When I lean into the Holy Spirit, He directs me in Your word and in prayer for my loved ones, my community, and the nations. And Lord, I thank You for creating me! Most of all, I will be forever thankful that You came for my rescue. Yes, indeed. Rescue from sin, self, stuff, and everything in between. You alone have set my feet on solid ground, and Your healing work in my thoughts and emotions continues as I feast upon Your Word and abide in Your felt presence. I am ready for this day! Dear Lord Jesus…I turn my whole heart towards You before this day begins. I worship and adore You, Lord, and lift up my words of praise _________ (do so by listing some of His wonderful characteristics!). I pray today for all those in severe weather conditions around the world. I pray for rescue, safety, help, and comfort for those who are struggling in these situations, especially the very young, the elderly, and those who are unhoused. I also lift up those with physical need __________ (name them). I declare Your covering and healing touch for each of these situations, in Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I come to You in the secret place under the shadow of Your wings. My heart is full of gratitude for all that You continually do in my life, walking with me at work, home, school, and the marketplace. I am so grateful for Holy Spirit power moving through me as I access Your grace by faith, and that Your grace, is present over every area of my life. Dear Lord Jesus...Lead my day! I come humbly into Your presence, excited and energized by the Holy Spirit for this brand-new day in this brand-new year. I recognize all my faults and failings, but I am clothed in Your spiritual armor, and I trust Your continued work in my life. Because You have done so much for me, today I battle pray for these folks that are struggling emotionally ________ (take time to name them and what you sense they are going through). Dear Lord Jesus…I quiet my heart before You in the stillness of this moment. I know that I am in Your presence, Almighty God. And in this quiet time, I am completely reminded that nothing is too difficult for You. Nothing is impossible. Dear Lord Jesus…I am so thankful that fear no longer rules my life, all because of You! No matter how crazy today's news is, I clothe myself in Your presence, and I will not let any other voice (even Christian voices and culture!) inform me. Only Your Word, Lord. No matter what the world, the enemy, or even my own failings try to do to trip me up, my gaze is on higher ground in You. You truly are my Rock, and Your love is my firm foundation. Dear Lord Jesus…Today, to focus my thoughts, I worship You ______ (take time to do this with words of adoration!). As I draw close to You, I realize that You have been waiting for me! It doesn’t matter how I have messed up, been distracted, or lost my footing, You invite me into Your felt presence. Your Holy Spirit within me quickens my spirit to know that I am living in Your profound grace. And You are setting me free from the deep things of my past the enemy has used against me.
