Morning Moment of Prayer...

At the start of this new day and this new year, I put my trust completely in You. During this past year, it’s been evident that when I completely take my hands off controlling my circumstances, trying to manipulate people (or You!), or thinking I know what is best for my life, I have completely missed the mark. Yet, every single time I surrender my life each day to Your Lordship, I so clearly sense Your presence as You lead me and unfold events before me. What rest my soul has found in You. I yield to You again now, especially for these circumstances _______ (take time to name them and completely surrender them). In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus…I quiet my heart before You in the stillness of this moment. I know that I am in Your presence, Almighty God. And in this quiet time, I am completely reminded that nothing is too difficult for You. Nothing is impossible. So instead of bringing You my laundry list of prayer requests, I choose to remain quiet before You and let Your Holy Spirit breathe His life into me. I open Your Word with joy, and I know that You hold me in Your hand and that all my concerns are already taken care of because You are my God. In the Most Beautiful Name in the World, King Jesus. Amen.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...As the day begins and all the hurry of the holidays comes, I make a choice to put Your first above everything. I live, rest, and have unspeakable happiness because Your Word tells me that I am 'unconditionally accepted and unbelievably wanted' (Eph. 1:6).* I ask today to be a total blessing to someone. Whether I can lend a hand, a dollar, or a time of prayer for those you bring my way, I ask to be discerning as to what You are up to in that moment. I am ready. And You are first! In Your Name, Immanuel, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...If there is one thing the nativity account does, it tells us that You are the God of the Impossible. And in the quiet of this moment. I bring before You these friends and loved ones who are facing seemingly impossible situations _______ (name them). By the authority of Your Name, King JESUS, I speak a parting of the waters for these folks. I declare a release of Your healing touch, the binding of enemy strongholds _______ (name them), and I pray heaven down into each of these circumstances. You came to rescue us, Lord, and I stand in the gap for these dear ones. Amen!

For with God nothing will be impossible.

Dear Lord Jesus...One thing I know for sure is that today, I am held completely covered by Your mighty hand, and my tomorrows are completely secure. Fear is a thing of my past, and anxiety has become non-existent in my life. May the power gifts of the Holy Spirit flow through me today wherever I go. I pray to be a light in a dark and weary world. Fill me 'til all that is left is You. In the Magnificent Name of my Savior, Jesus. Amen!

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus…As the days count down to celebrating Your birth, I glorify and exalt Your Holy Name. I pray today I will not only praise You with my words but everything I DO will be filled and empowered by Your Holy Spirit within me so that everyone we see and experience Your love and healing through my life. Whew! That is a huge request! So, I now surrender everything about this day to Your will completely. Yes, Lord, be glorified through me. In Your All-Powerful Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus... The days are flying by this month as we countdown to celebrating Christmas. I pray that all of the remaining days will be filled to overflowing with testimonies of Your goodness. Lord, You have given me so much and I pray to be a vessel that You pour through to reach others with Your love and grace. I want to be sensitive to everyone around me, have overwhelming patience, and truckloads of grace to pour into other’s lives in Your name. Today, I hand over to you these concerns _______ (take time to do this). I trust You completely. In Your Name of Counselor, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…I am so grateful that You came! Your rescue mission to save us has brought me such joy, peace, and purpose. You have changed my world from upside down to right side up. Everything about Your Holy Spirit living in me has been so freeing and delivering. I ask you to please continue Your deep dive into my thoughts and emotions to bring continued wholeness and healing that I can turn around and extend to others during this final week leading up to celebrating Your birth. I am Yours! In the Name of the One and Only, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…Today I lean into Your all-powerful names. You are not only called Jesus (Yeshua: Hebrew for The Lord is Salvation), but Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. These are but a few of the titles that culminate in You. In this moment I sense I need the strength of Your Name _________ (pick from this list in this prayer, and let the Holy Spirit speak encouragement to you from it) for this situation ___________ (name the situation). I am Yours and You are my Lord as I head out into this busy before Christmas day. In Your Almighty Name, Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…As the days seem to move so quickly by this Christmas season, I take this time to quiet my heart in Your presence ____ (do this). When I am still before You, and I direct my every thought to think only of You, Your peace and power in the Holy Spirit rise up within me and bring calm to my emotions and my thinking patterns. I am not worried by current events, because I am fixing my hope in You alone and the power of Your love and Word to walk me through any current obstacles or even the latest news report. I am so grateful for Your peace, and in Your Mighty Name, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus…You reign over this Christmas season celebrating Your birth. Before I start any activity today, I simply desire to be grounded and centered on You. I pray for Holy Spirit grace to guard my emotions and the strength of Your Word to hold my every thought captive to You. So, when impatience wants to needle its way into my soul, I will remain in Your felt joy instead. Or, if any thought that doesn’t glorify You comes knocking, I will cast it at Your feet and let Your Spirit prevail. I am Yours! In Your Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus... I am so grateful for You today. I am so thankful that I never have to do life alone because You are always with me. Your forgiveness and grace cover my mess-ups, and Your righteousness secures my position in You. I am humbled by all that You have done in, through, and for me. As so many struggle today, cause me to hear the Holy Spirit's heart to intercede for others. As I wait quietly upon You, please place folk's names on my heart to pray for through the day _________ (do this now). I go forward in the power of Your Name, Living Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...With each day’s headlines, our weary world is growing darker by the day. And then I think of those I care about who are in challenging circumstances, too. Today, as I worship and adore You, I am so grateful for the Holy Spirit’s power and ability to fill my soul and spirit with overwhelming hope. Not just the hope of Christmas but hope in Your finished work on the cross and the power of Your resurrection. May I be a blessing to any who feel hopeless today, as You overflow my life. Dear Lord Jesus...I am so excited for this beautiful season celebrating Your birth! I pray that multitudes will come to a saving knowledge of You during this time, especially these folks who are near and dear to me _______ (take the time to name them). I pray each day, as I quiet my heart before You to hear Your voice and read Your Word, that the Holy Spirit will help me to prioritize my every task. That interruptions won’t interrupt my peace and joy, and that I will be a light to everyone I meet. I am Yours! In Your Magnificent Name, I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Heavenly Father...At the start of this Christmas season, I bow my heart in this moment. In the stillness of this time, I sense the Holy Spirit strengthening me for this day, and reminding me why You came and the boundless joy You bring to my life. You already know the challenges that I will face and the demands that will be placed upon me. I trust You, Lord. I break any spirit of control or manipulation that may want to entice me to take matters into my hands and I cast those thoughts and actions down in the authority of the name of Lord Jesus. I choose to trust completely in You and I am now ready. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus…As I position myself before You in humble surrender—exchanging my plans and will for Yours—what peace and joy fill my heart to overflowing. Only Holy Spirit can do that! In these uncertain times with war in so many places, my heart and mind are fixed upon You. As I pray in the Spirit today, may my prayers be right on target as I lift up my family, neighborhood, nation, and the nations of the world. May I be a conduit of Your goodness to many today as Your goodness pursues my life. In the Name of the Everlasting King, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...How can I ever thank You enough? All that You have done, all that you have given me, and all that is yet to come as I walk in Your life as Your precious child. Well? It takes my breath away! But most of all, I thank You for Who You Are. You are my creator, redeemer, savior, shepherd, healer – the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. May I live a life of thanks-living by bringing You thanksgiving every day that I draw breath. In the Name of the One and Only Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…My eyes are turned toward You. I lift up this coming week before Your majestic throne and stand in solid assurance that You are completely in control as I walk closely with You. I pray to be a light in the dark and that everywhere You lead me today in my home, workplace, or the marketplace, I will be so overflowing with the Presence of the Holy Spirit, that people around me will know that You are near, and they will call upon Your name even if they have never done so before. Please lead me to those you want me to pray for or witness to them of Your great love. Here I am. In Your Superlative Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!
