Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…Life is hectic!! Good grief, I can’t believe how over-scheduled, overwhelmed, and over my budget, I can get so quickly. So, in this quiet moment, I still my heart before Your throne. I now choose to walk thoughtfully and humbly in Your Holy Spirit’s power throughout this day. I will make the corrections You are whispering in my heart of how to live in Your presence, no matter what I face. And as I open Your Word, I already sense Your Spirit speaking to me _______ (take time in the Bible today without any guilt!). I am Yours, Lord. In Your Majestic Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...I am so grateful that I am never alone. I am thankful to You that I am held so tightly in Your almighty hand that that Your supernatural strength is available to me at all times. I sense the presence of Your Holy Spirit who indwells me, and I ask for His leading as I make these decisions ______ (name them) today. I thank You for His power that enables me beyond my capabilities and floods my emotions with Your peace. I am ready to face this day all because of You. In Your Name, Lord of Lords, I pray. Amen!

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...At the start of this day and this week, I draw near to You. I pray that Your Holy Spirit will be unhindered in my life to do the miraculous. People are in need all around me, and I pray to bring Your Kingdom down in prayer, word, and deed wherever I go. I refuse to hold offense against anyone. I will not give place to the devil’s ploy to get angry, prove I am right, or think I know best. I lean instead, wholly upon Your all-powerful, healing love to live in and through me. I am ready! In Your Majestic Name, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...How tightly You hold me with Your righteous right hand! What comfort, strength, and joy I have knowing that Your heart and mind are always upon me and that You love me anyway! Today, I ask to be a beacon of light to everyone I meet. Because You hold me, I am so secure, which releases me from every temptation to worry or give place to anxiety. My trust is in You and these matters that concern my heart, I place squarely in Your hands, too __________ (name them). In Your Name Above All, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I am so grateful You know the way for me to walk. I rest in Your leading as I look forward to this coming day and week. Your perspective is not only eternal, but also, You know what’s up ahead, who is involved, and what is the best path for me to take through this broken and fallen world. I look to You for everything, and may those I come in contact with sense Your presence in my life through the Holy Spirit. I am ready. In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…How grateful I am that You are the only One who can genuinely make all things new! This truth brings such joy to my heart, that no matter where You lead my life’s journey, You are continually doing a new thing in me and through me. I am so done with “living in a rut living!” You set me free years ago, and I will never go back. It is not my trying harder, but resting in the resurrection power of Your Holy Spirit, Let’s start this day! In Your Superlative Name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus…How grateful I am that You know my name! Indeed, You know every intimate detail of my life and still love me relentlessly. I rest completely in Your all-powerful and tender care today. My every worry and concern I now lay at Your feet _________ (name each care). You are also teaching me to battle pray against my adversary, the devil (not people!), and wage prayerful war in the authority of Your name from Ephesians 6. Oh, how I love You! May this day be filled with Your glory and purpose through my life. Yes, even me! All because you know my name. And in Your Masterful Name I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…How I worship and adore You today before I do anything else. When my heart and mind are set upon You, every ounce of fear or anxiety leaves. You are the One and Only! I love that You loved me so much to surrender all of heaven’s wonder and glory—which my earthly mind can’t even conceive its splendor—and came for me. For me! In turn, I surrender my all to You in this moment. Everything. All my plans, dreams, trials, relationships, yes, everything about my life. I pray to walk in the Holy Spirit’s supernatural gifts and cultivated fruit today. In Your Magnificent Name I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…You are worthy of it all. Everything that is comes directly from Your hand. And as Creator God Who is holy, just, true, good, excellent, perfect…You are the only Right One. May I never, I repeat never, look to myself or any other person or created thing to bring me salvation. There is no other name to be worshipped but Your Most Holy Name. Today, I surrender all that I am to You and I relinquish any doubt, fear, or anxiety for faith in You alone. You have never failed me yet and never will. You are worthy of it all…and In Your Beautiful and Powerful Name, King Jesus. I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I am so thankful that fear no longer rules my life all because of You and the unfailing power of Your grace! Today, I clothe myself in Your presence and stand firmly upon Your unfailing Word; I am safe. No matter what the world, the enemy, or even my own failings try to do to trip me up, my gaze is higher upon You. You truly are my Rock, and Your love is my firm foundation. I love You, Lord. Dear Lord Jesus…How grateful I am for the start of this day! What a load of burden off my shoulders, heart, and mind knowing that You have already filled me with Your Spirit and in Him, I have everything I need to face, well, everything! Today, I surrender all of my life to Your plans and purposes. For those certain situations I am waiting upon You for Your perfect timing ________ (name them), I wait bound up in Your love (what the OT word for “waiting” means!). My soul rests in You. In Your Omnipotent Name, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Prayer - January 8, 2024

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…I start this day fully surrendered to You. What joy fills my soul even though life swirls around me. I pray today to walk without offense. Lord, the little and big grievances that I can hold against people, well, I lay them at Your feet. Life is just too short here on earth to live not forgiving others. Yes, I will walk in the healthy boundaries Your Spirit directs me to live in. Yet, I can still walk in the Spirit’s enablement to release others from any hurt they may have knowingly or unknowingly afflicted. I am Yours! Your fullness within me is more than enough. In Your Masterful Name, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…How grateful I am that my soul rests safely in Your presence. No matter what the storms of life bring, the Holy Spirit overwhelms my thoughts and emotions with Your peace that passes understanding. Today, I pray for these areas in my life that I have not surrendered yet to Your control ______ (name them carefully). As I release them into Your Almighty care and take my hands off them, I stop obsessive thinking or worry and the pretension of thinking I know what the best outcome is. Yes, indeed, Your felt peace is ushered in. I rest in You completely today. In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…You alone are my Rock. When I steadfastly stand in Your presence, Your Spirit causes me to remain firm in Your embrace even when it seems like everything is shaking around me. Today, I ask to receive a fresh word from Your Word for my current circumstances ______ (name them). I also pray to speak Your love over someone’s life today, whether it be a prayer for healing, deliverance, encouragement, or salvation. Your agape love is beyond compare, so deep and so wide, may it flow through me to bless someone else today. In Your Incomparable Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I begin this first week of the new year with my eyes set upon You. I worship and adore You and place the full gaze of my attention upon Your face. You rule. You reign. I lift up these areas of my life that I am waiting upon Your perfect timing this year __________ (name them). Know that waiting in the Bible actually means drawing so close to You that my heart is bound to Yours, I wait with Holy Spirit joy and in His power to sustain and work miracles. Let this day begin! Morning Moment of Prayer... 

Dear Lord Jesus...Lead my day! I come humbly into Your presence, excited and energized by the Holy Spirit for this brand new day in this brand new year. I recognize all my faults and failings, but I am clothed in Your spiritual armor, and I trust Your continued work in my life. Because You have done so much for me, today, I battle pray for these folks that are struggling emotionally  ________ (take time to name them, and what you sense they are going through). I pray to be an encourager and a light to their lives. Please help me to know when to speak and when not to speak to them. I surrender all! In Your Majestic Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus... How grateful I am that You have not left me defenseless in this world! I recognize that Your Word tells me that my battles are not with any person, but they are spiritual prayer battles that affect physical outcomes. So today, may I continue to begin this New Year walking in Your agape love towards every person, yes, every single person I encounter. And as Your Holy Spirit leads me, I want to battle pray for them in the power of your Name. May Your kingdom come and reign in every circumstance! In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer… 

Dear Lord Jesus…I know that no matter what this day or what this new year brings my way, You have me covered. You are living inside of me and walking with me through every day. There is nothing that I will face that You aren’t the answer for. So, Lord, I set my heart on You and Your kingdom. I will not look to the right or the left or for any person to save me, except You. I give up my preconceived thoughts about this new year and invite Your Holy Spirit to completely take over. Because when I seek Your kingdom first, everything else falls into place. In Your Majestic Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Dear Lord Jesus…In this moment of quiet, I sense Your Holy Spirit overwhelming my life, bringing peace to me from the inside out. I trust Your timing Lord in these matters of concern _______ (name them) and these issues taking place in the world _______ (name them, too). I choose to wait upon You expectantly as Your Word states and I know that You know exactly what needs to happen in these areas and in these lives.
