Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...There is no one like You. As I begin this day, I choose to rest in Your strength. Please help me to quickly recognize that when I get impatient or frustrated, it is a gauge that I am trying to do life in my own strength! I lay down my control of these areas of my life where I have a tendency not to trust You entirely______ (take the time to name them). Thank You for your grace and love in these matters and these people. I am ready to roll! In Your Gracious Name, I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Now God has offered to us the same promise of entering into his realm of resting in confident faith. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it.

Dear Heavenly Father...at the outset of this day I crown You Lord of all that will take place. Cause me to bring heaven’s rule down to earth in every encounter I have and everywhere I go. I speak Your rule and reign over situations that I am facing or that my loved one’s are facing _______ (name them). I will not fear because you hold me with Your righteous right hand. Dear Lord Jesus...I want to live today in all that You have for me. Teach me by Your Word to truly walk in who You say that I am! Guilt, shame, pride, and trying to make my own way or secure my own future are not my portion. My trust is fully in Your finished work on the cross and I will rest my cares and concerns upon Your Almighty shoulders. Today, I lift up those in my sphere of influence who do not yet know You. I speak Your precious name and salvation over these lives _______ (name them). I am so ready! In Your Glorious name I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...I start this day with Your praise on my lips and a declaration over my life of who You have made me to be. You are teaching me to walk as Your child through adversity small and great because You alone can level every mountain and raise up every valley. I place these areas of concern in my life ________ (name them individually) in Your Almighty Hand and I put on Your armor of protection as I declare Your name is higher over any attempt of the enemy to defeat me. In the Name of Almighty Jesus, I pray. Amen!

I rest the full weight of ALL my cares and concerns upon You and relinquish control regarding how You take care of every detail of these matters. I rebuke every spirit of darkness that would try to make me anxious, worried, or even try to expose me to a hint of fear! What lies! Dear Lord Jesus… I am so grateful that You know my name. It is sometimes hard for me to believe that out of the billions of people in the world, You know me intimately, and You love me so much. The confidence of this truth makes me rise above the world’s expectations and soar freely to become all that You have intended me to be. Today, as we continue to pray for world events, You are enabling me to walk in greater freedom and healing through Your Word. I am ready! In Your Boundless Name, I pray, Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…I continue to look to You for everything that concerns my life, and I know that You will supply everything I need physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I put my trust in You and not my circumstances. As I take time before You, I pray for the Holy Spirit’s discernment to pray on target for those who I know are in need _______ (name them and battle pray for their circumstances). Dear Lord Jesus…Today, I worship and honor You. I am so grateful that You reign supreme over every work of the enemy. I am thankful that You shine Your light, even in the darkness of this world. Today, I lift up this burden on my heart that is taking place in my family _______ (name what this might be). I carefully lay this care into Your almighty hands and trust You completely. Holy Spirit, please show me how to battle pray Your Word over my family situation. I know You will fight my battle, and I co-labor with You in Your Most High Name, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus… Whew! As time flies by and so much is taking place worldwide, my heart and mind find peace in Your presence. I can’t thank You enough for the living waters of the Holy Spirit that I sense within me that encourage, strengthen, and uphold me. I am grateful that You always have time for me, and Your call and purpose upon my life reignite the flame of the gospel each time I wake up in the morning. In You alone, I have found all purpose, presence, assignment, worth, and love. I am Yours. And in Your Magnificent Name, I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...It is the end of the week, and I am thirsty! You have walked with me every step of the way and in every encounter. You have been with me and seen my hits and my misses, and yet You love me beyond reason. I pray to soak in Your presence and Word this weekend. When I am tempted to fill my life with the empty calories of pleasure the world and my flesh want to pursue, please help me Holy Spirit to instead take a deep and long drink of Holy Spirit power, giving me healing and life-giving refreshment. Let’s finish well, Lord Jesus, I am ready to start this day. In Your Name, LORD, That Reigns Supreme. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus…Here we are again! The start of a busy day. In this moment of quiet, I pour out my life before You. Please empty me of my selfishness, self-absorption, and any and everything that keeps me from the fullness of Holy Spirit power, joy, and, most of all, Your limitless love. I pray that Your Word inside of me will continue to speak to me throughout the day, and may I not only be refreshed and revived but bring that same refreshment to many. Dear Lord Jesus… I lean hard into You today at the start of this week. As I hide under the shadow of Your wings, I quiet all the noise in my mind and wait humbly to hear You speak to me. I lay down my plans and projects and pray for revelation about what truly needs to be the most significant priorities to take care of today. I ask for the Holy Spirit gift of wisdom to know how best to proceed with everything that comes my way. I will keep my eyes on You alone, Lord Jesus, and in Your Incomparable Name, I pray. Amen!

There will be so many distractions that will attempt to draw me away into my thoughts and plans and not Your thoughts and plans. Holy Spirit, please lead and guide my every step, and may every word out of my mouth glory You and encourage others. Dear Lord Jesus…It is another new day to live in Your love. As I face the challenges that will come my way – some known and some unknown – I know Your steadfast love will hold me tightly. I cling to Your Word in my life (ask Him for a particular Scripture just for you!), I know that Your Holy Spirit will empower me to see Your strength, direction, and leading. Dear Lord Jesus…I will wait upon You. I will wait upon Your timing. You have never failed me in any way. Have you done things differently than I would have? Yes, most certainly! And I thank You that You didn’t take my advice, as if that would ever be helpful!!?? Oh, how I love You and surrender the start of this week into Your almighty hands. And as I wait, I turn to the old Bible Hebrew word for waiting upon You which means to be tightly bound to You; my heart connected with Yours. Dear Heavenly Father…I am Yours! The power of Your grace and truth continually set me free from the lies of the enemy, my own shortcomings, and all my guilt when I blow it! I ask for Holy Spirit overflow in my soul to continually transform me from the inside out. As I head into the new week there is much to battle pray for, and I pray for the Spirit’s leading in these matters that concern me ________ (name them) and for these nations in the world that need a miracle from heaven ______ (take time to stop and pray as the Spirit leads you).
