Dear Lord Jesus...Today I put my spiritual armor and walk in the authority You have so graciously given me in Your name. Because I am Your child, I know that Holy Spirit power dwells within me. As I work through this day, cause me to have the discernment to pray accurately and battle the enemy boldly. I have no fear because You hold EVERY detail of my life – small to large – in Your Almighty hands. In the Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Lord... Your authority is my strength and my peace.

Dear Heavenly Father…I am so grateful that You go before me, and I choose to follow You today as You lead the way. I pray that You will open doors to minister to those around me. I also pray for those I know who are battling covid, declaring Your Lordship over _______ (take time to name them and pray specifically). I also ask for Your strength to encourage the physicians, nurses, facilities crew, and all who have become pandemic weary in my local hospitals ______ (name the hospitals). In the Name of the Great Healer, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I awaken this day with You first and foremost on my mind and in my heart. I pray Your kingdom rule and reign in every situation I face. I am leaving my worries at Your feet and instead pray to be a conduit of Your love. I pray specifically for an open door to speak today to someone about You so that they may be encouraged in your love and be led to You. Yes, Lord! Please open the door! In Your Gracious Name, Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father… Here I am. I worship and adore You in this moment. I am so looking forward to this day in Your felt presence and love. I surrender in advance, this deep concern I have the extreme weather patterns across the world, most especially _________ (name the location the Holy Spirit is directing you to pray for). I pause and wait on You for how to pray and battle in Your name for those affected ______ (take time to do this). Jesus, in these trying hours, my eyes are upon You! As I meet with my church family, may I be a huge blessing, comfort, and encourager today! In Your Name Above All Names, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…What comfort and security I find in You! As the day’s news becomes more daunting and as those in my circle of influence face their own personal traumas, I turn to You alone to find all I need. You, Oh Lord, are the Rock of my defense and strength! I pour out my plans, duties, expectations, and concerns at Your feet. I pray for Holy Spirit enablement and empowerment as I face this workday and I am looking forward to all You have in store. In the Ineffable Name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…Here I am. I worship and adore You in this moment. I am so looking forward to this day in Your felt presence and love. I declare the Almighty Name of Jesus over this issue and cancel every work of darkness that might try to gain an advantage. Father, I trust this care to You and agree with Your Word that Your will be done, even if it is different from what I think should happen. Because Lord, You always come through in miraculous ways. Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus...I pray today for my brothers and sisters in Christ, both in Haiti and Afghanistan. No one is hidden from Your love and care. I pray for strength, provision, protection, and supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit for each member of Your family. I pray that although the world is darkening, Your light shines only brighter. I pray for more resources so that I may give financially beyond what I usually do. I love You Lord, and know that You are at work around the globe and in my neighborhood, too. Here I am. Send me to do whatever You wish. In the Almighty Name of King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I stand in confidence of Your faithfulness and unfailing love. With so many in the world facing war, famine, flood, and fire, I set my eyes upon You alone. You are the Hope of the Nations and I pray for my brothers and sisters in dire need at this moment ___________ (pray for what world situation He places on Your heart). There is NO ONE like You, and the authority you have given me in prayer in the power of Your name amazes me beyond understanding. Today I listen quietly for Your word to my soul, as well. This day belongs to You, be glorified in everything I do and say. In the Name of the God of Angel Armies, Jesus. Amen!

NOTE: Please forgive my missing a few days….on vacay!

Dear Heavenly Father...At the very start of this day, I pray to be a blessing to everyone I meet. No matter where my feet take me, may I have Holy Spirit awareness of everyone around me. Please help me to pray on target for the people You place upon my heart, even strangers who I walk by in the mall, the coffeeshop, neighborhood – everywhere! By the might of Your Spirit I want to make an eternal difference TODAY and not selfishly dwell upon my own concerns, because You’re carrying them! In the Name, King of Kings, Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I want to finish this week well. I may be a little weary, drained, or tired, but that is when You work best through me! In my weakness, You are made strong. I pray for Holy Spirit patience, power, and persistence to meet every situation I come across today. Flow through me with Your river of living water to bring refreshment, not only to me, but for everyone I come in contact with. Let joy reign! In Your Most Beautiful Name, Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...As I lay the burdens of my heart at Your footstool, I know that You are aware of every intimate detail surrounding them. I surrender my thoughts and desires for how I think You should intervene in each of these situations and the folks involved. I know that You are going to do things that my heart can’t even imagine and as Holy Spirit gives me the patience and power to wait, I pray for the perfect unfolding of Your plans in these areas of my concern ______ (name them). Dear Lord Jesus...As the world grows darker, may Your love through my life grow ever brighter. I contend for Your continual restoration of my soul which is my heart and mind. Should I have any areas of unhealth, in relationships or in behaviors ________ (name them), I give You full permission to work Your life into mine, removing the things that would continue to hinder my growth in becoming more like You. Dear Lord Jesus...You have made more than a conqueror through Your work on the cross and the power of Your resurrection life within me. As I start this week, please pour through me to reach others for You. May I slow down and not react selfishly or with irritation to the situations that arise around me. Instead, extend the Holy Spirit gifts and fruit that You have been cultivating within me. I am so ready...all because of You. And in Your Most Powerful Name I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Dear Heavenly Father...I wait upon You before the whirlwind of the day’s events begin, I am troubled by all that is going on in the world today. And yet, You are GREATER STILL and You have called me to pray down heaven’s rule among the nations and that is what I do now. I speak Your rule, Your reign, and Your authority over these nations _______ (name those that are coming to your mind). I declare that many will be brought to salvation today and that Your name be lifted high. Yes, indeed, In Jesus’ All-Powerful Name. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I don’t want this day to roll by me like I can often let so many do. I pray instead – and I choose – to be oh so aware of what You are up to all around me. Help me, Holy Spirit to know when to speak and when to be quiet. Help me to choose excellence in every chore, duty, and job assignment that I have to complete, from the mundane to the momentous, may each task bring You glory. This is the day YOU have made. I WILL rejoice in it completely! In Your most Majestic Name, Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus… I am so grateful I am hidden in Your Almighty hand. I place my trust entirely in Your protection and provision, and I know that no matter what takes place around me, You live within me. I am never alone. I speak Your perfect peace over those who are fearful. I declare healing to those who have become ill with coronavirus, and I pray for protection for all health-care workers worldwide. My confidence is in You, and the Holy Spirit is overwhelming my heart. Only You, Lord Jesus, are the eye of this hurricane, and in Your All-Powerful Name, I pray. Amen! 

You will keep him in perfect peace,

Dear Lord Jesus…I ask for the Holy Spirit’s help to keep my every thought fixed upon You. I pray to be a beacon of hope and light to every person I meet or talk to today. I ask for Your love and power to overwhelm my heart and then overflow to others who may not have the peace I have in You alone. I ask for your protection and covering over my loved ones. And I continue to pray that You will use this time to lead multitudes of people to You, including these in my circle of loved ones _______ (name them) who don’t yet acknowledge You. In Your Name Above All Names, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Dear Lord Jesus… I awaken this day in the power of Your might! I am so grateful for the armor you have given me, as found in Ephesians 6. I am never alone, lonely, on my own, or orphaned. I feel You almighty arms under my every step and the power of the Holy Spirit infilling me. Today, I pray for those I know who are struggling financially ______ (name them). I ask for Your heavenly resources, earthly help, wisdom for their spending, and improved employment if that is needed. Help me to continue in battle prayer for these folks throughout the day. In Your Mighty Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

Dear Lord Jesus…I am so grateful to live in Your Kingdom. By the power of Your cross and resurrection, You have transferred me from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your love (Col. 1:13). Today, I pray for the nation I live in and its leaders ________ (name it). And as much as I love my country, my true home is when I hide myself in You. There I am safe, healed, delivered, and seated in heavenly places with You. I am ready for this day! Let the joy begin! In the Name of the King of Kings, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father…at the start of this day before anything else takes place, I choose to trust You. You already know what is heavy on my heart, what is trying to steal my joy, and how thoughts of worry want to dominate this day. But, no! I trust You Abba-Daddy. I am nothing but You are everything. And for some crazy reason, You love me like no other. I rest in Your all-consuming love and rebuke any spirit of fear from my life in the Name of the Lord of Lords, King Jesus. Amen!

For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?”
