Come Through.png

Morning Moment of Prayer…

 Dear Lord Jesus...I do not want to face this day without the overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit inside of me. I am Yours and I surrender every facet of my life, work, home, family, friends, and my nation to Your Lordship. May my every word bring You praise and my every action point others in Your direction. I pray today to be Your image bearer in every circumstance I face and for every person I meet. Not my will Lord, only Yours! In the Name of the Prince of Life, Jesus. Amen!

 "Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD!"
Psalm 27:14

Unforced Rhythms.png

Morning Moment of Prayer…

 Dear Lord Jesus…I start this week in anticipation of all that you are going to do! I pray that every step I take today is Holy Spirit led as I wear Your shoes of peace and the rest of your Holy Spirit armor (Eph. 6). There is so much division, strife, and tension, Lord, but you have called me to a higher Kingdom and to represent Your Kingdom with unconditional love and unfailing mercy. I surrender my emotions and will for Yours and choose today to live in Your unforced rhythms of grace. In Your Magnificent Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

 Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.
Matthew 11:28-30 The Message

Kingdom Come.png

Morning Moment of Prayer…

 Dear Heavenly Father… I worship You in this moment. No matter what goes down in the world at large and in my personal world, You reign and rule. I make a broad place in my heart for Your powerful Holy Spirit to overwhelm, heal, deliver, and continue to breathe through my life. You are my deliverer, and I look to no one else but You! That I could bring delight to Your heart is beyond my comprehension, yet Your Word states this truth, and I feel Your love embracing me in this moment. I am Yours. In the Name of the Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen!

 He also brought me out into a broad place;
He delivered me because He delighted in me.
Psalm 18:19

Thrill of Hope.jpg

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...This day after Christmas, I continue to celebrate Your birth. Because of You, all fear and worry are gone. You hold me tightly in Your Almighty Hand and I look forward to all that You will do in and through me in the coming year. As the world faces daunting news, I know I will see Your glory on display and even greater works of Your healing and restoration in my life and in those I love. Please keep me aware of Holy Spirit presence in my every moment. In the Name Above All Names, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Romans 5:5

Hi Everyone! I am going to take a short New Year’s break from posting as I spend time with the fam (safely of course!). So, from December 27 through January 6th, I won’t be posting. Also, I am getting ready to launch a little self-published book about the Lord’s gracious touch to heal me of stage 4 cancer, available January 11th, on Amazon!

Dear Lord Jesus...On this eve of the celebration of Your birth, I am reminded that the entire account of this glorious day in Your Word tells me that nothing is impossible for You. Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus… I proclaim Your greatness at this moment. No matter what is going on in the world or in my life, You hold me close to Your heart this Christmas season. I sense the Holy Spirit filling me up as I pour myself out before Your throne. I continue to pray for those around me. However, today, I feel led to declare salvation and healing to another nation other than my own ______ (pray for the country the Lord puts on your heart). I ask that multitudes will come to know You and Your healing touch will continue to spare many lives. I ask these things in Your Most Powerful Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Arise.jpg

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus…I quiet my heart before You in the stillness of this moment. I know that I am in Your presence, Almighty God. And in this quiet time, I am completely reminded that nothing is too difficult for You. Nothing is impossible. So instead of bringing You my laundry list of prayer requests, I choose to remain quiet before You and let Your Holy Spirit breathe His life into me. I open Your Word with joy and I know that You hold me in Your hand and that all my concerns are already taken care of because You are my God. In the Most Beautiful Name in the World, King Jesus. Amen.

Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people."

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father…Before this day begins during this ever so different Christmas season, I bow my heart in Your presence (take time to do this…). I am here, Lord. And, I am here for You alone. I surrender afresh every one of my cares and concerns ________ (name them slowly) and I give them to You. I know You are already at work in each of these circumstances and people. I choose to get out of Your way, and what You are doing in these things. Here is my heart Lord, I choose to live in Your love. In the Wonderful Name of Jesus. Amen!

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus…You reign over this Christmas season celebrating Your birth, even in the struggles the world is facing. Before I start any activity today, I simply desire to be grounded and centered on You. I pray for Holy Spirit grace to guard my emotions and the strength of Your Word to hold my every thought captive to You. So, when impatience wants to needle its way into my soul, I will remain in Your felt joy instead. Or, if any thought that doesn’t glorify You comes knocking, I will cast it at Your feet and let Your Spirit prevail. I am Yours! In Your Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

For since the beginning of the world
Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear,
Nor has the eye seen any God besides You,
Who acts for the one who waits for Him.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

 Dear Heavenly Father…I wait upon You in this moment. As I draw every thought to Your presence and fixed upon Your Word, I know that I have everything I need. I suit-up with the spiritual armor you have given me out of Ephesians 6, and I am ready to face the day, filled with Your love, Your powerful Holy Spirit, and my heart seeking Your will alone. I sense Your leading today to pray for any of my neighbors that don’t know You yet __________ (name them). Please show me something I can do to reveal Your overwhelming love for them as You have placed me here where I live. I am ready! In the Beautiful Name of King Jesus. Amen!

 The Word became flesh and blood,
    and moved into the neighborhood.
We saw the glory with our own eyes,
    the one-of-a-kind glory,
    like Father, like Son,
Generous inside and out,
    true from start to finish.

In Me.jpg

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus... I am so grateful for You today. I am so thankful that I never have to do life alone because You are always with me. Your forgiveness and grace cover my mess-ups, and Your righteousness secures my position in You. I am humbled by all that You have done in, through, and for me. As so many struggle today, cause me to hear the Holy Spirit's heart to intercede for others. As I wait quietly upon You, please place folk's names on my heart to pray for through the day (do this now). I go forward in the power of Your Name, Living Lord Jesus. Amen!

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

Joy to the World.png

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus… As I come to You today, I pray to be in constant and sweet communion with You as much as is possible. During this Christmas season and in the craziness of this year, Your Spirit and Word have reminded me how important it is to keep my thoughts on You and that I anchor myself in Your Word and power – not the latest news report. Your report is the only one that matters, and I thank You for the Your joy that is filling me now. I pray to be a blessing and encouragement to many by reaching out in texts, messages, and calls. I am ready! In the Glorious Name of Jesus. Amen!

Through the tender mercy of our God,
With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;
To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,
To guide our feet into the way of peace.

Joy to the World.png

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus… At the start of this day and this week, I lift up praise and glory to Your Name. As cities, counties, and nations are still struggling with COVID-19, I agree with believers around the world in binding its work in Your mighty name! I ask today that the Holy Spirit would my mind and heart fixed upon You as I prepare for Christmas. As I open Your Word, I pray for a greater revelation of it into my own life. Please make alive any areas of my thinking or emotions where I have allowed things to become dormant that You want to make alive. I am ready! In the Name of the Lord of Lords, King Jesus. Amen!

Rejoice in the Lord always.
Again I will say, rejoice!

Grace and Truth.png

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...At the start of this day, please open the eyes of my understanding to discern what is going on all around me, both seen and unseen. There are always disturbing news reports but they are not enough to disturb the steadfast peace You have given me! Please cause me to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading in every situation I face and please work through me to touch someone in Your Name to bring healing, deliverance, encouragement, or salvation. You rule and in Your Most Beautiful Name, I pray. Amen!
