Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus...As the world around us grows darker, may Your Holy Spirit light within me shine brighter. Fill me Holy Spirit so that no matter where I go today: work, home, or the marketplace, may those around me sense that Your kingdom is near. I choose to cooperate with You today to be patient, not impatient (yes!). I determine to walk in Spirit-joy, not in frustration. And I pray to be an encouragement, not critical (ouch!). I am so ready! In Your Majestic Name, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...I am so looking forward to this day to see all that You have in store for me. Please help me to be aware of Holy Spirit’s presence as I walk through my day in my workplace, home, errand-running and in everyplace where my day’s duties take me. I live in Your kingdom now. Please keep at the forefront of my heart and mind who I truly am: Your child! Let’s do this thang! In the Name of the One and Only Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I want to live today in all that You have for me. Teach me by Your Word to truly walk in who You say that I am! Guilt, shame, pride, and trying to make my own way or secure my own future are not my portion. My trust is fully in Your finished work on the cross and I will rest my cares and concerns upon Your Almighty shoulders. Today, I lift up those in my sphere of influence who do not yet know You. I speak Your precious name and salvation over these lives _______ (name them). I am so ready! In Your Glorious name I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...I start this day with Your praise on my lips as I continue to receive in a fuller measure all that you have given me. You are teaching me to walk as Your child through adversity, both small and significant because You alone can level every mountain and raise every valley. I place these areas of concern in my life ________ (name them individually) in Your Almighty Hand, and I put on Your armor of protection on as I declare Your name is higher over any attempt of the enemy to defeat me. In the Name of Almighty Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I worship You and You alone. As I gather with others to give praise to Your name, to be oh so encouraged by the teaching of Your Word, and pray for one another with my church family today, help me to be entirely led by Your Holy Spirit. May I have a word for someone in need, discernment to battle and pray for someone else, and may I speak Your blessing and joy to every hand I shake or person I embrace. In Your Superlative Name Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I start this day and this week with my heart and mind abiding in You and Your Word. I take these quiet moments and request Holy Spirit overflow. I carefully put on each implement of your spiritual armor and prepare myself in You for all that I may face. I am SO grateful that my joy, my happiness, and my well-being are established upon You and not my circumstances. Because of this truth – this reality – I soar on eagle’s wings. I am so ready!

But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. - Isaiah 40:31

Dear Heavenly Father...How grateful I am today that You are my Abba Daddy. I rest the full weight of ALL my cares and concerns upon You and relinquish control regarding how You take care of every detail of these matters. I rebuke every spirit of darkness that would try to make me anxious, worried, or even try to expose me to a hint of fear! What lies! Dear Lord Jesus...I prepare my heart before you this day. I pray for a fresh word from Your Word. Holy Spirit please speak into my heart and mind what verse(s) You want me to hold onto, stand upon, believe for, and cling in this season of my life. Your Word is truth and I pray for a “divine echo” confirming to my spirit that I have heard Your specific word for me correctly. In the Name of the One and Only, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...I start this day surrendered. Before I speak another word, think another thought, or take the next step forward, I ask that You be Lord of it all. Especially my blind spots, Lord. Please open my eyes to my failings and faltering, my selfishness and self-will. I can’t see these areas without your help, especially with my family. I desire to see the areas that need Your healing touch, and I make myself available for You to speak into my life. I am Yours. In the Name of the One and Only, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I start this day with you first and foremost in my mind. Family, events, church life, and daily life can roll in like a flood, but as I settle my heart in Your presence, Holy Spirit peace envelopes me. Today I pray for clear direction as to what matters and what doesn’t. Keep revealing any lies I may be believing about myself, situations that I am facing, or even about You! Dear Heavenly Father...Today, I let my cares and concerns lie safely in Your hands. What a relief not to be in control of these things anymore! Because I know You hold each and every person and situation. Holy Spirit peace is flooding my soul. I look forward to today and the weekend to come. May Holy Spirit overflow my life to bring Your healing touch to others because You have so lavishly brought such physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing into my life. Dear Lord Jesus...Thank you that I made it to this last day of the week! I am so grateful for Your amazing and lavish grace poured out upon each day that has just passed. You are putting so many puzzle pieces of my life into order and the outcomes have been rich and fulfilling. And I declare my trust in You completely with the circumstances that I don’t fully understand how they will turn out but I surrender control of them – knowing You are holding me in Your right hand. I am ready for today and in Your Wonder-Filled Name I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

I pour out all of my thought’s preconceptions for how I think this day should go and ask for You to completely rule and reign over every detail. Dear Heavenly Father...I want to be so intentional to live in the Holy Spirit’s presence. As I wait before You now and pray in the Spirit, may every distracting thought be held captive so that I can hear Your Word. Please open my eyes to see as You see today, no matter where I am: work, home, school, or marketplace. May I have Your discernment about what is going on around me and not count on my best guess! I step out now in Your overwhelming joy, and I seal this prayer in the Name Above All Names, Lord Jesus.

Dear Lord Jesus...As I still my heart in your presence, I quiet my thoughts before You (take a moment to do this). Today I pray for Holy Spirit insight regarding everything that is going on around me at home, work, school, and the marketplace. You have filled me with Your Spirit Who gives me discernment – how often I am just too busy to hear Him! But not today, Lord. Please help me seize every opportunity to encourage and pray for those around me in the Spirit. May I be a light to everyone I encounter. I am Yours. In the Most Beautiful Name in the World, Jesus. Dear Lord Jesus...At the start of this day, I take this time now in Your presence. I live for Your Holy Spirit overflow and Your voice speaking through Your Word to me. I already know some of the situations and people that I will encounter in the next few days, and I place each of them in Your hands. Right now, I quit trying to control and manipulate Your plans. Dear Lord Jesus...I want to finish this week well. I may be a little weary, drained, or tired, but that is when You work best through me! In my weakness, You are made strong. I pray for Holy Spirit patience, power, and persistence to meet every situation I come across today.
