Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Heavenly Father...Here I am. In the quiet of this moment I still my heart in Your presence (take a few moments to be still). When my heart and mind are quiet before You, truly – I know that You are God. Before I rush out the door or begin this day’s work schedule I only desire to be directed by the Holy Spirit. Please fill me, overwhelm me, and influence everything I say and do, especially when I am tempted to be frustrated, impatient, or just plain ornery! God, You are in control and in the Name of King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...as my family and the world gear up for this Christmas season, may my heart and mind be hidden and fixed upon You. I pray for Holy Spirit empowerment to be discerning about all that is going on around me. Help me bring Your joy and encouragement to those harried, stressed, and forlorn. Let me be a light in the darkness with sensitivity and tenderness. And please use me to bring Your healing: physical, mental, and emotional to those in need during these days. And please start with me, first! I am ready! In the Your Most Holy Name, King Jesus. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus...How can I ever thank You enough? All that You have done, all that you have given me, and all that is yet to come as I walk in Your life as Your precious child. Well? It takes my breath away! But most of all, I thank You for Who You Are. You are my creator, redeemer, savior, shepherd, healer – the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. May I live a life of thanks-living by bringing You thanks-giving every day that I draw breath. In the Name of the One and Only Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…at the start of this day I desire to set my mind only upon You. There will be so many distractions that will attempt to draw me away into my own thoughts and plans and not Yours. Holy Spirit, please lead and guide my every step, and may every word out of my mouth glory You and encourage others. I pray for Your supernatural gifts of healing and discernment to see what is really going on around me and bring Your Kingdom down in prayer. Let’s go! In the Limitless Name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus . . . Today my heart is burdened for those I love who do not yet know Your great love and salvation ____________ (name them). As I declare their names to You now, I choose to walk in the authority You have given me to bind and cancel any spiritual strongholds in their lives _______ (name what you are sensing the Holy Spirit giving to you). I pray that each of these will come to know You quickly and I ask Lord that You would arrange the circumstances of their lives to turn their attention to You. I thank You for all You are doing and in the Authority of Your Name, Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I want to be ever so sensitive and still to hear Your voice this morning. So much is going on in the world and there are millions searching for meaning and purpose in their lives. I pray to be a blessing to every single person I encounter today at work, home, school, the coffee shop. Please speak through me to bring encouragement to those who need it most. And as I encourage others, I know I will be encouraged as well. In the Limitless Name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I start this day of worship with my heart bowed before Your magnificent throne. As I get prepared for the week ahead, may everything I do today be centered around You and Your beauty. In this quiet moment, I sense the Holy Spirit filling me to overflowing and I am drawn to Your Word to be strengthened and fortified. I am Yours and I exalt You above all else. In the All-Powerful Name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…It is another new day to live in Your love. As I face the challenges that will come my way – some known and some unknown – I know Your steadfast love will hold me tightly. I cling to Your Word in my life (ask Him for a special Scripture just for you!), I know that Your Holy Spirit will empower me to see Your strength, direction, and leading. Dear Lord Jesus...Today I live in the grip of Your grace. No, I know this isn’t a license to do what I want – that honestly always causes wreckage and ruin – instead I surrender to the power in the Holy Spirit Your grace affords me. So today, I want to live lavishly in Your grace. Help me to understand it more completely as I extend it lavishly to those around me, especially when I am tempted to be impatient! Let’s roll, Lord! In the Ineffable Name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I start my quiet time with You giving You all of my praise and worship! I put everything I will face today in Your hands for I know that as I am hidden in You, I am surrounded by Your love and power. I pray, Holy Spirit, that You will keep me rooted and grounded in the Savior’s love. I especially ask for Your grace as I lift the burdens I have been carrying onto His shoulders _______ (name these cares). I proclaim Jesus’ Name over these areas and His Lordship over every detail. Dear Lord Jesus...I start this week confident in Your love for me! I am so grateful for the healing You have already brought to my heart, emotions, and thought-life. Your Word is continually cleansing me as I let it wash over my life. Thank You, that I start this day knowing You alone are my help. And with You, all fear and anxiety are vanquished, my needs are met, and I am living full and satisfied. It is in Your Superlative Name, Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...Though my thoughts seem to be scattered, my life a little too over-scheduled, and this day is already brimming with deadlines to meet and things that have to be done – I put You first. Holy Spirit please quiet my heart and enable me to bring every one of my thoughts captive to You and Your plans alone. Even now, I take authority over this day and bring it under Your Lordship. Fill me, work through me, and mold me into Your beautiful image. In the Wonder-Full Name of King Jesus. Amen!

Father, I declare Your presence, power, and will over each and every one of these. I speak to the mountains that are hindering healing, restoration, and/or provision ________ (name the “mountains”), in the Name Above All Names, Lord Jesus. Please lead me by Your Holy Spirit to remain praying throughout this day. I am ready! Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I start this day thirsty and ready for more of You. As I sense Your nearness in this moment, I pray for Your fulness to engulf my life and overwhelm me. Today I choose to encourage instead of criticize; to bless the weary instead of finding fault; to bring healing where there has been brokenness. Please pour through me to others and wash away my selfishness as well. I have all that I need and so much more, all because of YOU! In the Almighty Name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I desire to start this day clearing my heart and mind of any attitude, thought, or mindset that will hinder Holy Spirit from working in and through me today. Most especially, I need to make sure that more layers of unforgiveness are being removed from my life. I forgive _______ (name whoever). Dear Lord Jesus...I sense your presence in my deepest waters and in the midst of Your greatest triumphs in my life. I am beginning to understand how Paul could say, it didn't matter what was going on in my life -- You are greater still. What comfort, what joy, what overcoming in every area of my life. All because of You and Your beyond reason love for me. I pray that everything I do today glorifies You and in Your Incomparable Name I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...You are my everything. You are the beginning, the end, and everything in between in my life. Today I pray for Holy Spirit revelation to really see everyone around me. Help me to see their needs, their hopes, their dreams, and their burdens. I ask to pray on target for each of them that You point out to my heart today. May I be an encouragement in everything I say and do and if I become impatient with anyone, may I remember your great grace, grace, grace to me! Let's roll! In the Name of the One and Only Jesus.
