Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…I start this day of worship with my heart bowed before Your magnificent throne. As I get prepared for the week ahead, may everything I do today be centered around You and Your beauty. In this quiet moment, I sense the Holy Spirit filling me to overflowing and I am drawn to Your Word to be strengthened and fortified. I am Yours and I exalt You above all else. In the All-Powerful Name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…It is the end of the week and I am thirsty! You have walked with me every step of the way and in every encounter. You have been with me and seen my hits and my misses and yet You love me beyond reason. I pray to soak in Your presence and Word this weekend. When I am tempted to fill my life with the empty calories of pleasure the world and my flesh want to pursue, please help me Holy Spirit to instead take a deep and long drink of Holy Spirit power – true, healing, and life-giving refreshment. Let’s finish well, Lord Jesus, I am ready to start this day. In Your Name, LORD, That Reigns Supreme. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father... Thank you for the overflow of Holy Spirit within me that You have so graciously given to every believer. Thank You for the power and healing of Your Written Word, to challenge, guide, comfort, and fill me. And all praise to Lord Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and Whose Name I seal this prayer. May all I do this week bring You glory -- I love you Abba Daddy. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I start this week with only You on my mind. I cast all of my cares that are weighing down my heart into Your capable, boundless, and powerful hands. I sense Your presence, Your comfort, and Your happiness. Your love has cast out every fear and I wait upon Your perfect will and timing for the matters that concern me. You got this! In the One and Only Name of King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I avail myself of Your amazing grace in this moment. I need Your covering of righteousness as I face this day and I don’t want to do anything in my own strength. I pray that all that I say and do will glorify You and already, I lay down any spirit of criticism that I might allow to overtake me! I rest in Your mighty arms and lay my burdens at Your feet ________ (name them one by one). This day is Yours! And Your Superlative Name I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…Here we are again! The start of a busy week and the start of a brand-new day. In this moment of quiet, I pour out my life before You. Please empty me completely of my selfishness, self-absorption, and any and everything that keeps me from the fullness of Holy Spirit power, joy, and most of all, Your limitless love. I pray that Your Word inside of me will continue to speak to me throughout the day and may I not only be refreshed and revived but bring that same refreshment to many. In the Wonder-Filled Name of Jesus, Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus… I am so grateful that everything I need is found in You. All the wisdom and guidance I desire, the covering of your righteousness to cover my stuff and sin, that You are transforming me from the inside out, and the surety of my salvation are ALL found in You alone. What a load off! Thank You for carrying the weight of my life and those I love so I don’t have to. And because of this truth, I trust You for these situations _______ (name what concerns you). I release my control and preconceptions of how You will work in each of these things and people. In the Name of the One Who Loves Me Beyond Reason, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…As I head into this summer day with a ton of stuff to do in my workplace, home, school, and community, I lay every care and burden at Your feet. Really. I am taking the load of stuff that so can often weigh upon me and exchange all these cares for Your yoke of grace which is as light as a feather. I will make plans, but Holy Spirit You call the plays. I will rest in the knowledge that even interruptions or inconveniences are often orchestrated by You to get my eyes off of myself and onto You or others who need Your touch. So, with a joyful heart, I start this day in You. In the Name Beyond Compare, King Jesus.

Dear Lord Jesus...Today, I carefully put on Your armor. I surround myself with Your truth and cover my heart in your righteousness. My feet are willing to go wherever You take me to spread the gospel. I cover my mind in the full meaning of Your salvation. Throughout today, Your Word will be foremost in my soul and my weapon in prayer which will be overflowing in the Holy Spirit. Let's do this thang! In the Name of the Sovereign Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...Today I pray for Your hand of power, love, and comfort around those who have suffered so much unspeakable trajedy this past weekend ________ (take a moment to pray in Your own words). You, Lord, are our only hope and as the days grow darker, as You said they would, I ask that You would cause me to be oh so sensitive to those around me who need Your touch. Help me to bring comfort and healing where it is needed in my circle of today's influence. I will walk in Your power, patience, and wisdom. In the Name of the One and Only King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...Today, in the quiet of this moment, I behold Your beauty. I adore You Lord God, and once again, pour out my life before You so that I might be filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit's love, power, discernment, compassion, and gifts. As I prepare my heart to worship You, I am reminded of all that You have done for me. In turn, I pray to bless, encourage, comfort, and pray for those in need around me. Dear Lord Jesus…As I start this day, I stand in Your lavish grace. I receive all that You have done for me. I am pure dust, Lord. Honestly, I without purpose or significance in my own standing. However, as I stand in Your amazing grace You have turned my wretchedness into beautiful glory. You have turned my mourning into dancing. You have given me calling and direction. Dear Lord Jesus...I don't ever want to stop growing in You. Holy Spirit, please keep moving me forward in my Savior. I pray to walk in all He has for me, seeing many come to Him, laying my hands on the sick and seeing them recover in His name, and setting the captive free. Lord, I surrender this day to You and for the rest of my life. I am SO ready! In Jesus' Boundless Name. Amen!

You alone are the eye of every hurricane and I hide my heart in You. and I rest fully upon Your Word. Dear Lord Jesus...I bow my heart in quiet adoration. Where would I be without You? Today, Lord, I lift up those in my circle who are encountering cancer ______ (name them). No matter what stage they have been diagnosed with, I speak healing to their bodies. Cancer, you must bow to the Name Above All Names, King Jesus. The enemy has no place here in their midst and I pray that each of my friends and loved ones sense Your presence, Savior, in this moment. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...In You I have found freedom. True and lasting freedom from my insecurities, my addictions, and my behaviors that once held me captive. It wasn't always easy and I didn't always trust that You could really do this for me at times, but You came through. Your shed blood ransomed, rescued, and is now restoring every area of my life. I am so ready to tell someone about You today. In the Delivering Name of Jesus. Amen!

I have no idea why You love me so much, but my soul is overflowing with Your generous Holy Spirit. Please pour through me today to reach others with Your love and power. Dear Lord Jesus...You are my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer. Today, I come putting the full weight of my life and my concerns upon the Rock of Your powerful Word. Your very presence surrounds me and guards me like no other fortress can, and Your delivering power is delivering me, even when my circumstances don't change immediately, You are delivering me from myself in the midst of them. Then, true deliverance takes place on every level of my life. I am so ready for this day! In the Almighty Name of King Jesus. Amen!
