Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...Honestly! Can the days get any busier? And we haven’t really even started December yet! Father, I really want to glorify you this season in everything I do. I pray for Holy Spirit enablement to not only prioritize what is important and what to let go, but to be courageous and bold to say, "no" when I need to. I desire only Your plans, not mine, in this moment and for all eternity. In Your most Superlative Name Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...Here I am. In the quiet of this moment I still my heart in Your presence (take a few moments to be still). When my heart and mind are quiet before You, truly – I know that You are God. Before I rush out the door or begin this day’s work schedule I only desire to be directed by Holy Spirit. Please fill me, overwhelm me, and influence everything I say and do, especially when I am tempted to be frustrated, impatient, or just plain ornery! God, You are in control and in the Name of King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...at the start of this hectic day of this sometimes frantic season, when the to-do lists are never-ending and the shopping lists are even more daunting, I need You. Plain and simple, I bow my whole being before You and ask for Your direction, strength, wisdom, and discernment on how to prioritize all that is before me. Because when I put You first Lord, everything else will fall into place. In the Name Above all Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...Today, I carefully put on Your armor. I surround myself with Your truth and cover my heart in your righteousness. My feet are willing to go wherever You take me to spread the gospel. I cover my mind in the full meaning of Your salvation. Throughout today, Your Word will be foremost in my soul and my weapon in prayer which will be overflowing in the Holy Spirit. Let's do this thang! In the Name of the Sovereign Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...as my family and the world gear up for this Christmas season, may my heart and mind be hidden and fixed upon You. I pray for Holy Spirit empowerment to be discerning about all that is going on around me. Help me bring Your joy and encouragement to those harried, stressed, and forlorn. Let me be a light in the darkness with sensitivity and tenderness. And please use me to bring Your healing: physical, mental, and emotional to those in need during these days. And please start with me, first! I am ready! In the Your Most Holy Name, King Jesus. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus...I start this day before Thanksgiving in adoration of You. I join those gathered around Your throne singing, "Holy is the Lord!" Holy Spirit, please overflow and overwhelm my life. Please continue Your saving and healing work of restoring my soul and my growing health in You be contagious in the lives of those around me. I am Yours and In the Name of Jesus, Most High, I pray. Dear Lord Jesus...I close out this weekend rejoicing. No matter the good, the bad, and the ugly that took place, You were and are greater still. Today I turn my heart and mind, once again, upon You. Dear Lord Jesus...My heart is on fire for You today. Please work through me to reach others who don't yet know Your beyond reason love. Dear Lord Jesus...You are my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer. Today, I come putting the full weight of my life and my concerns upon the Rock of Your powerful Word. Your very presence surrounds me and guards me like no other fortress can, and Your delivering power is delivering me, even when my circumstances don't change immediately, You are delivering me from myself in the midst of them. I have no idea why You love me so much, but my soul is overflowing with Your generous Holy Spirit. Please pour through me today to reach others with Your love and power. Dear Lord Jesus...There is nothing You cannot do, yet my selfishness and brokenness often get in the way of hearing Your heart for my life. So I ask; I desire only Your dreams for my future. Give me God-dreams, not self-dreams. As You restore my soul, cause me to hear Your voice clearly and when Your plans are whispered into my heart, please help me to pray big, believe big, and trust You big -- for there is nothing that You cannot do. Dear Lord Jesus... I start this day with fresh vision, purpose, and calling. Only You, Lord, bring meaning to my life and cause my steps to be eternal. I am so loved! Thank you for the overwhelming sense of the Holy Spirit within me. Your joy overflows even when my circumstances are difficult. Your comfort surrounds me even when the darkness of this world wants to close in. Dear Lord Jesus...At the start of this day, I place every care and concern of mine in Your Almighty hands. Dear Lord Jesus...In You I have found freedom. True and lasting freedom from my insecurities, my addictions, and my behaviors that once held me captive. It wasn't always easy and I didn't always trust that You could really do this for me at times, but You came through. Your shed blood ransomed, rescued, and is now restoring every area of my life.
